Blackboard Course Management System
Blackboard is the course management system used for most distance education courses at UNC. Students will use this site to access and participate in their courses.

This site provides information for students for doing many common tasks and handling common problems related to Blackboard.

Onyen page
The Onyen is the name for the identifier you use to gain access to various electronic resources on campus. It stands for the "only name you'll ever need." This website allows to create and manage your Onyen, including changing the password when your current one expires.

IT Response Center
The ITRC provides technology support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for students and faculty. You can also call the Response Center at 962-HELP or email at help@unc.edu.

Student Central
Students can use this site to register for classes, check grades and billing info, update their address, and more.

UNC For Students website
This page on the main UNC website has links to many student resources on academics, student life, student services, finances, and media.

UNC Libraries
The Libraries website provides vital information to students wishing to make use of the resources available through the UNC library system.

Webmail
Students can use the Webmail online email system to access their UNC email accounts.

MyUNC
MyUNC is a customizable portal that brings together onto one screen links to valuable information that would otherwise be difficult for students to find without accessing many different local networks at UNC.

Online Skills Test
This site helps students ensure that they have the computer capabilities and technological skills necessary to successfully take most distance education courses.

Writing Center Online Tutor
The Writing Center is launching a program this fall that will offer distance education students assistance with writing assignments.
