Blackboard Course Management System
Blackboard is the course management system used for most distance education courses at UNC. Faculty will use this site to access, build, and conduct their courses.

Blackboard Help
This site provides information for faculty for doing many common tasks and handling common problems related to Blackboard.

IT Response Center
The ITRC provides technology support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for students and faculty. You can also call the Response Center at 962-HELP or email at help@unc.edu.

Faculty Central
Students can use this site to register for classes, check grades and billing info, update their address, and more.

UNC For Faculty and Staff website
This page on the main UNC website has links to many faculty resources, including services, announcements, organizations, and publications.

UNC Libraries
The Libraries website provides vital information to faculty wishing to make use of the resources available through the UNC library system.

Webmail
Faculty can use the Webmail online email system to access their UNC email accounts.

MyUNC
MyUNC is a customizable portal that brings together onto one screen links to valuable information that would otherwise be difficult for faculty to find without accessing many different local networks at UNC.

Customizable Online Skills Test
This resource for faculty allows them to create skills tests that ensure that students have the specific computer capabilities and technological skills to take their distance education course.

Center for Instructional Technology
The Center for Instructional Technology provides faculty support, documentation, and classes, for distance education.
