How do I get a Blackboard space for my course?
A Blackboard course space is automatically created for every course listed with the Registrar, usually 4-5 months prior to the start of the term. If you are the instructor of record you will automatically have access to the course. If you do not see the course listed on Blackboard, or if you need a course spaces created further in advance, contact Blackboard support at 962-HELP or help@unc.edu
How do I access my course on Blackboard?
Go to http://blackboard.unc.edu and log in with your Onyen and password. You will see a list of all courses to which you have access.
How can I get assistance in learning how to create and manage an online course in Blackboard?
The Center for Instructional Technology offers regular workshops on setting up and using Blackboard (http://www.unc.edu/cit/workshops/index.html). You can also find answers to most common questions online (http://help.unc.edu/?trail=4780)
How do I get assistance preparing online reserve readings for my online course?
The University library (http://www.lib.unc.edu/), the Health Sciences Library (http://www.hsl.unc.edu/), and the Law Library (http://library.law.unc.edu/) all will assist faculty in preparing electronic reserves and securing the necessary copyright permissions.
