The Office of the E-Learning Policy Coordinator in the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) assists faculty interested in online teaching and learning by identifying relevant resources on campus. In addition, we coordinate the development and distribution of information related to online course quality, assessment, instruction and development. 

The office maintains the UNC distance education website at http://distance.unc.edu and replies to inquiries from individuals interested in UNC’s distance education programs. 

We manage a listserv for interested faculty through which we distribute information related to campus events, new E-Learning initiatives, policies and pertinent articles. To be added to this list please email us at distance@unc.edu.

There is also an E-Learning Community site on Sakai which you are invited to join. This site is a forum for faculty and staff involved in E-Learning to discuss topics of interest and hear from one another about issues facing programs on campus. Please email us at distance@unc.edu if you'd like to take part.
